Expo Spotlight: eoGear

For this year’s Seattle Bicycle Expo, March 1 and 2, more than 200 vendors and presentors will fill the booths at Smith Cove Cruise Terminal to show off new bikes, accessories, fitness plans and travel opportunities. Leading up to Expo, we will highlight some of them here on the blog

What’s your favorite thing about Expo? Is it the edifying and empowering presentations? Maybe it’s the old school allure of the Classic Bike Show or the daring of acrobatic cyclists. I don’t know about you, but for me, the best thing about Expo is the surprises; it’s the things you never thought you’d see.

You may know eoGear for their top tube bags and panniers, but their catalogue is full of surprises. Like this:

That’s right, in addition to selling tire levers, bike computers, saddles, Chamois Butt’r and a boat-load of other bike products, Expo vendor eoGear also sells this ingenius banana saver.

Bananas are great riding fuel. They’re tasy, full of potassium and they come in a biodegradable wrapper. But wow are they easy to mash! It’s one of the ways those fat-cats in Big Banana keep us buying new product. But not anymore!

In all seriousness, eoGear is about so much more than novelty banana cases and so much more than biking. They specialize in bags, but also sell hydration products, apparel and accessories for stand up paddleboarding and cycling. Really, the variety of products they sell is incredibly diverse, so check out eoGear at Expo in booth #481 or online at http://www.eogear.com.

Don’t let another banana get needlessly mashed!
