The Delridge Greenway

Our good friends at Seattle Neighborhood Greenways and I want a safe route for you and your family to walk and bike in Delridge.

You're probably asking yourself, "how can I help?"

Well, the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) is hosting an open house in Delridge Tuesday, Nov. 19, that will give you a chance to show support for the Delridge Neighborhood Greenway along 21st and 17th Avenues SW between the West Seattle Bridge Trail and SW Cambridge Street.

Let me know you are coming to the open house by carrier pigeon, phone (402.699.4739) or by clicking this link >>

Community support is what's moving this project forward. And, as you may know, greenway (green-and-way) is Norwegian for getting places safely. And who doesn't like that?!

So, come learn more about the plan, and together we can create a high-quality greenway that will provide people of all ages and abilities a safe, convenient and comfortable place to walk and bike.

Join me on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 5:30 p.m. in The Salvation Army's Multi-Purpose Dining Room to support people getting places safely.

Who is counting on you to be there? I am, your kids and your neighbors. RSVP here >>
