Helmets are required on all Cascade Bicycle Club rides. All the rides are classified according to pace and the type of services provided by the ride leader. In order to pick the rides that suit your skills and energy level, please view the pace guidelines and ride classifications.
Cascade Bicycle Club does not sponsor or endorse any non-bicycling
activities that people may participate in while on these rides. You are
responsible for your conduct and decisions while on a Cascade ride.
Cascade membership and activities are open to everyone able and willing
to participate in a safe and cooperative manner and in support of the
purposes of the club.
It is not the practice of the Cascade Bicycle Club to exclude anyone
from a club activity as long as they behave in a safe and cooperative
manner.

Two days of riding: Saturday's 45-mile-ride is a loop, past Lake Wenatchee, down Tumwater Canyon to Leavenworth for lunch, then return to Plain via Chumstick Creek. Sunday's 25-mile-ride is along the Wenatchee River through apple orchards to Cashmere, and return to Leavenworth on the other side of the River. We will ride around Bellevue, Kirkland and Redmond, including a healthy climb of Somerset, and, hopefully, have a great sunset view over Seattle. Please join us for a joint ride with the Evergreen Tandem Club that follows a scenic rural route though Maltby, Snohomish, and Monroe. Single bikes always welcome. The 9th annual Halloween ride, touring 13 cemeteries and other appropriate sites. All friendly ghosts, goblins, witches, and warlocks are welcome. Costumes are encouraged, but you must ride in them. Lunch afterward at a "devilishly" good Chinese restaurant. This is an extremely popular ride - be ready to ride with 40-55 of your scariest friends. Also, be ready for hills - ghosts love their views.

Come join in a post-Tour de Morte procession of cemeteries in the south end. We will pay visits to several historic places of rest between Renton and Auburn. A post-procession of food and spirits will be at a local historic pub. Directions to start: From I-405, take the SR 167/Rainier Ave Exit to Renton, go north on Rainier Ave, right on SW 7th, just after the Les Schwab Tire store. Follow SW 7th St straight through a stop sign and the road will bend around to the left, then split around Burnett Park. Parking is available just north of the park.
