Goose Bumps: Getting Started

This month marks the resumption of the self acclaimed "Goose "Bumps" ride series. Hopefully you have a few good rides in by now and are looking forward to the season ahead, maybe training for STP, etc., this is a great place to start. If you like to ride low-traffic, back country roads and don't have time for a ferry, these rides are for you. The rides feature two ride leaders with brisk and moderate paces. We will head to the backcountry roads of North King and South Snohomish Counties and into the Snoqualmie Valley. The various routes include the rural communities of Snohomish, Monroe, Carnation, Duvall, etc. Terrain is evenly divided between hills, flats and rolling -- low traffic country roads. We will regroup occasionally and stop for mid-ride snack. We also provide what are arguably the finest maps/cue sheets in the business. We will conclude the day with a post ride brew or two at the Ale House. NOTE: The ride will be cancelled in the event of excessive sunshine, otherwise, we ride!
