Allow at least 1-1/4 hours travel time from Seattle to Camano. The entire island is rolling (or just plain steep) hills, and if the road is wet it could be quite slippery. Mountain bikers should be fine; road bikers may wish to use wider tires for this ride. Bring money for lunch and snacks. Also, bring rain jacket, head- and taillights, and camera (optional). Finally, pack a change of clothing in the car for the ride home.

Pace may be faster depending on group dynamics. Take I-90 east to Hwy 18 exit-go left under freeway. Drive 3 miles to Railroad Ave, turn right, 1 mile to Log Pavilion next to train station.
