Parking

There are over 2,500 parking spots at Terminal 91 and parking will cost $5 per day. Attendees will need to walk ½ mile from the Terminal parking lot to the Cruise Terminal building at south end of pier. Please plan for this short walk and dress accordingly.

Shuttle Bus

There will also be a complimentary Shuttle Bus service from the terminal parking lot to the Cruise terminal, running every 10 minutes during show hours.

Bike to Expo and get cool stuff!

Bicycling is the most convenient and easy way to visit the event. Riders may enter the facility at either of two entry gates located just off the Elliot Bay trail. Secure parking is available directly in front of facility at the bike corral. The first 350 riders each day who use the corral will earn a free item from Clifbar or Alchemy Goods.

Getting to Expo

BY BICYCLE

Of course your bicycle is the best way to visit the event! Secure parking is available directly in front of facility (for a small donation to Bikeworks). Riders may enter the facility at either of two entry gates located just off the Elliot Bay trail.

From the north (Dravis & 20th Ave W in Magnolia):

Take 29th Ave. W. until you reach end of the road (train tracks on left). Turn left on Elliot Bay/Terminal 91 Bicycle Trail towards Smith Cove. Turn left onto W. Garfield Street. Use caution, as there will be oncoming cars arriving down ramp. Turn left into parking area and turn right toward the water. See the facility ground map below for clarification.

From the south (Broad St-Olympic Sculpture Park):

Take Elliot Bay/Terminal 91 Bicycle Trail through Myrtle Edwards & Elliot Bay parks. After leaving Elliot Bay park, follow the trail to the left for 300 yards until you reach W. Garfield Street crossing. Turn left on W. Garfield and enter the cruise terminal through the south entrance. See the facility ground map below for clarification.

BY BUS

Take bus number 19, 24 or 33 to Smith Cove Cruise Terminal 91. Request the stop on the Magnolia Bridge at Terminal 91. Depart bus on bridge, and walk down staircase and under the bridge to the Terminal 91 parking lot entrance below. Once you enter through the staffed gate, walk 10 minutes to the Cruise Terminal at far south end of the Pier. Be careful and watch out for cars, etc. - this is a working pier. Buses run about every 15-30 minutes.

From I-5:

If coming from North Seattle, take Exit 167 / Mercer Street (just before Downtown Seattle).

If coming from South Seattle take Exit 167 / Mercer Street. It is after the I-90 exit; however the exit is on the LEFT side of the freeway.

At this point, the directions to the new Seattle Cruise Ship Terminal are the same.

  • Take Exit 167 / Mercer Street
  • >Turn right onto Fairview Ave (get ready to take a left)
  • <Turn left on Valley St.
  • Valley St. curves left and becomes Broad St.
  • >Turn right onto Denny
  • >Slight right onto Western
  • Western merges into Elliot Ave. Continue north for about a mile.
  • Follow signs to Magnolia Bridge
  • >Turn right at 14th Ave W.
  • >Keep right and follow ramp which goes to Magnolia Bridge (West Garfield St.)
  • >Exit right. Following signs to "Smith Cove Park" and Cruise Terminal
  • >Turn right at bottom of ramp and follow signs for Cruise Terminal or Cruise Terminal Parking

From the 520 Bridge:

From 520, go southbound on the I-5 freeway. Get into the right hand lane of the freeway at Exit 167 / Mercer Street Exit. Then, follow the same directions as above.

From the I-90 Bridge:

From I-90, the Google directions say to take WA-99 north (the Viaduct). Seattle natives would not usually take that route. An easy way to get to Magnolia (without crossing four lanes of freeway) is to follow I-90 to the waterfront (Alaskan Way). Then go north to the end of Alaskan Way. Go to Elliot Ave and follow Elliot north to the Magnolia Bridge:

  • Go West to the end of the I-90 Freeway (the next few turns happen quickly)
  • >Turn right at 4th Ave S
  • >Turn right at S Royal Brougham Way
  • >Turn right at 1st Ave S
  • <Turn left at S King St
  • >Turn right at Alaskan Way
  • Follow to the end of Alaskan Way (1 mile)
  • Turn right at Broad St. (Get ready for left turn)
  • Turn left at Elliott Ave and continue on Elliot (1 mile).
  • Follow signs to Magnolia Bridge
  • >Turn right at 14th Ave W.
  • >Keep right and follow ramp going to Magnolia Bridge (West Garfield St.)
  • >Following signs to "Smith Cove Park" and Cruise Terminal
  • >Turn right at bottom of ramp and follow signs for Cruise Terminal
