Ride Description:
This loop has lots of variety: water views, flat sections and several challenging hills - see route map for details. We will ride at 18 MPH effort level on the flats, regroup at hilltops and take brief breaks at park facilities along the way. No lunch stop. From Discovery Park we head south to Alki, Marine View Drive, then east across the Boeing Access Road to Seward Park, north along Lake Washington Blvd, returning to Magnolia via the BG Trail. DIRECTIONS TO START: Enter Discovery Park on West Government Way and make immediate right onto Texas Way; go straight at the stop sign to get to the north parking lot. NOTE: PLEASE BE AT the Discovery Park NORTH PARKING LOT BY 9:20 AM.
