| Ride Description: |
| Ride the Narrows Bridge to Gig Harbor and see breathtaking views of Mt. Rainier, Puget Sound and rural farm country -- all with low traffic. (Hopefully there won't be too many clouds!) We'll be riding at a steady pace on the flats, but expect to go slower on hills. Ride will be about 30 miles, but we can shorten or lengthen it depending on group and weather. We may stop for coffee/beverage if the group would like. If I can get a co-lead (any volunteers?), this will be a no-drop ride; otherwise, we will try to be reasonable and wait for tire changes, etc. CALL IF WEATHER LOOKS QUESTIONABLE. DIRECTIONS TO START: The drive from central Seattle takes about 35 minutes; take I-5 to Hwy 16 West, Jackson Ave Exit; head south on Jackson one block and turn east on 6th; lot on north side of the street.
