| ICE/SNOW or daytime high <40 degrees (due to multiple stops) ALSO CANCEL. Tour Seattle neighborhoods via seven of its architecturally distinguished fire stations; many of these stations are new, others have been remodeled. We will start at Magnuson Park's big parking lot and head towards Seward Park, turning off to Mt Baker Station, then on to the International District, Downtown Seattle, Fremont, Ballard, Greenwood, Green Lake, U District, Laurelhurst and back to Magnuson. We will be riding at a moderate pace when possible, adjusting to traffic conditions as necessary. The long hills are gradual and the steep hills are short. We will take advantage of the many refueling opportunities along the route. Call if you are unsure about go/no go conditions. |
