Dear Charles:-
Enclosed you will find keys - one for my box at P. S. Natn'l Bank and the other for my trunk at home. I have packed my trunk here and left it with my "Cleveland" in Buck's attic. I took the chain off the wheel and put it in the trunk so that it will not be used.
I leave an account of my papers in my trunk and have left my papers in my box at the bank. Turner did not get over this morning. I have been over to Thedinga's store this morning listening to comments on the trip as people look at the wheels and placards in the window. Half a column in this morning's P.I.
Think Turner will be over in the morning. We are supposed to start then.
The P.I. contains Port Townsend dispatch; you need not circulate inasmuch as it says we are advertising wheels. I'll send a copy of this morning's paper to father so you need not.
So Long,
Will
Ruth's letter came, and pleased me very much. Quite a crowd, two or three tandems and will start us out of the city.
