Transportation Advocacy Day is Thursday, Jan. 28
Please mark your calendars for Transportation Advocacy Day, January 28, in Olympia. This will be the single best opportunity in 2010 for you to meet your local legislators and lobby for a pro-bike agenda during this year’s short legislative session. There was a large presence of bicyclists and bicycling issues at last year’s Transportation Advocacy Day, and we packed a hearing on the Safe Routes to School bill, our biggest legislative success.
For 2010, we hope to triple state funding for trails, fight for Complete Streets policies, and a Vulnerable User bill for traffic justice. Please join us to help make it happen. View our complete legislative agenda.
