We’ve got an exciting line-up for this year’s Seattle Bicycle Expo, to be held March 9 and 10 at the Smith Cove Cruise Terminal. From thrilling stunt shows to DIY-crafts to inspiring presenters, Expo has it all.  The terminal’s 135,000-square foot, two-floor space will buzz with local bike shops and nationally recognized manufacturers showing off their latest wares; and a special lineup of speakers and presentations will take to three separate stages. Leading up to the Seattle Bike Expo, we will feature some of Expo’s highlights here on the blog.

We'll be rolling out the bike carpet for you at the Cascade booth this weekend!

Be sure to swing by the festivities at the Cascade Bicycle Club booth as we've got lots in store for you.

For new riders:

We’ll have a riding in the Pacific NW 101 featurette, which will help you tackle the most common obstacles that keep people from riding: hills, rain and understanding bike infrastructure.

Also stop by to learn about our low-cost and free bicycling clinics and riding and maintenance classes for cyclists of all level. We can even teach you (and your kid) how to ride a bike.

For experienced riders:

Are you training for a cycling event? We offer possibly the largest free daily rides program in the U.S., coordinating more than 1,500 daily rides annually. Come visit our booth to find a ride right for you. And don't miss our Saturday talk about the best daily rides in Washington.

Want to step it up a notch and go on a multi-day cycling adventure? Come learn about our Club Tours and Cascade-affiliated International Tours.

You can also visit the booth to register for our events and purchase Cascade apparel.

Bring your kids!

For kids:

The Nutty Kids Zone will be hopping all weekend with lots of fun activities for kids of all ages.  We'll keep the kids entertained with interactive games, story time, kid-friendly crafting, compu-trainers, a treasure hunt and more.

Kids 15 and under get into Bike Expo for FREE, so load up your cargo bike (or mini-van) and bring ‘em down to our Little Nutty Kids’ Zone, presented by Nutcase Helmets.

DIY:

Learn to make fun and useful bikey stuff from items you've probably got lying around the house. Stop by the Cascade booth for free DIY clinics with a couple of local experts. You’ll go home with the know-how to make a reflective zipper pull with recycled inner tubes, a handy to-go snack bag, and how to personalize your fenders using electrical tape.
